## **2024 Recap**
From March 21st to 23rd, 2024, the bustling city of Dearborn, Michigan, played host to the highly anticipated 22nd Michigan Dance Challenge. Organized with precision and flair by the renowned duo, Devan and Brooke McClish, this event transformed the city into a hub of dance excellence. Dancers from diverse backgrounds and locales converged upon the venue, eager to showcase their skills and vie for top honors. Amidst an atmosphere charged with excitement and camaraderie, the Michigan Dance Challenge once again proved to be a pinnacle event in the dance calendar.

The Michigan Dance Challenge unfolded over three exhilarating days, commencing on Thursday, March 21st, with a dynamic lineup. Session 1 amaze spectators with the grace of International Ballroom and the fiery rhythms of International Latin dances. Following this captivating display, Session 2 introduced a magical twist with Disney Themed Night Club Events, alongside thrilling Night Club Freestyles featuring both Pro/Am and Amateur dancers, culminating in the intense Night Club Multi Dances & Championships. Friday, March 22nd, ushered in Session 3, spotlighting the smooth elegance of American Smooth dances, followed by Session 4, where the stage lit up with the glamour of Professional Cabaret performances and the competitive edge of Professional Rising Star Events. As anticipation mounted on Saturday, March 23rd, Session 5 ignited the floor with the pulsating beats of American Rhythm dances, leading up to Session 6's showcase of precision in Professional Compulsory Theater Arts and the artistic freedom of Professional Open Events. Each session unfolded with precision and passion, captivating audiences and honoring the dedication of dancers from near and far.
