The California Chic Classic, widely renowned as one of America's premier one-day dancesport competitions, unfolded its grandeur at the illustrious Delta Hotels by Marriott in Anaheim, California. This marked the glorious 5th year of the event, a celebration of dance and excellence that took place on January 20, 2024. Meticulously organized by the accomplished duo of Alexander Novikov and Heather Smith, the competition showcased the dedication and passion of the dancers in a setting that was nothing short of extraordinary. Noteworthy was the expansive dance floor, the largest among all one-day events in America, ensuring that the participants moved with unparalleled freedom and comfort. In this extraordinary atmosphere, the California Chic Classic once again demonstrated its excellence in the world of dancesport.

On the morning of January 20, 2023, the Saturday matinee session of the California Chic Classic commenced with the opening of doors at 6:30 am. The day unfolded with the graceful movements of American Rhythm from 7:00 am to 8:45 am, followed by the passionate rhythms of International Latin from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. The mid-morning spectacle featured the dazzling performances of Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth International Ballroom from 10:45 am to 12:30 pm, succeeded by the spirited Pre-Teen, Junior, and Youth International Latin from 12:45 pm to 3:30 pm. The afternoon session continued with the enchanting motions of American Smooth from 3:45 pm to 6:45 pm, followed by the captivating allure of International Ballroom from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. An exciting addition to this edition was the Pro/Am Night-Club event, which unfolded from 9:45 pm to 11:15 pm. Notably, for the first time in the competition's history, the Night-Club events took place at the conclusion of the competition and just before the announcement of Top Students, Teachers, and Studios Awards at 11:15 pm.
