From June 13-16, 2024, Aurora, CO, hosted the Colorado Star Ball Dancesport Championships, an event organized by Richard and Jennifer Booth. The Colorado Star Ball Dancesport Championships featured an extensive lineup of events across multiple sessions. Thursday evening kicked off with Pro-Am Nightclub Events and a "Wild Animal" costume theme, followed by Friday's matinee and evening sessions highlighting Pro-Am American Rhythm Events, Global Bronze & Silver Rhythm Scholarships, and Amateur and Professional Latin competitions. Saturday's sessions focused on Pro-Am American Smooth Events and culminated with the "Champions of the World" showcase and top awards. The event concluded on Sunday with Solo Stars Events, Pro-Am International Ballroom competitions, and the prestigious "John Hutyra" Ballroom Scholarship, celebrating the exceptional talent of students, teachers, and studios.
