From May 24th to 26th, 2024, the 17th annual Dancing a la Carte event took place in Springfield, Massachusetts, organized by Marcio and Saori DeSouza. The ballroom buzzed with excitement as each heat delivered an exhilarating display of dance talent. The atmosphere was electric, with attendees cheering enthusiastically and often joining in the dancing on the sidelines. The event was a memorable celebration of skill and passion, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

The 17th annual Dancing a la Carte event began with a full day of competition. The morning session featured Adult Pro-Am, Student-Student, and Mixed Amateur Ballroom single dances, along with championships and scholarships, covering levels from Newcomer to Pre-Champ. The afternoon session, starting at 4:30 PM, focused on Rhythm dances with similar categories. By 8:00 PM, the evening session transitioned to a lively "WHITE PARTY," featuring Night Club and Country Western single and multi-dances. The day was filled with high energy and outstanding performances, setting the tone for the weekend's festivities.
