The Galaxy Dance Festival, held from September 12-14, 2024, in Scottsdale, Arizona, celebrated its 50th year with an extraordinary ballroom competition. Organized by the renowned duo Artem Plakhotnyi and Inna Berlizyeva, this landmark event featured the captivating theme of "Avatar: Pandora Planet," complete with stunning dress and decor that transported attendees into a fantastical world. In recognition of the festival's milestone anniversary, double points were awarded for the Dance Sport Series and Dance Vision Circuit, adding to the competitive excitement of the event.

The Galaxy Dance Festival featured an exciting six-session lineup, each bringing its own unique flair to the ballroom floor. Session 1 kicked off with "American Rhythm Day," followed by Session 2's "Night Club Evening," where dancers embraced the lively energy of social dancing. Session 3 highlighted "American Smooth Day," leading into the glamorous "International Latin Eve" for Session 4. Session 5 showcased the elegance of "International Ballroom," setting the stage for the grand finale in Session 6. The final session featured a series of standout events, including Amateur Open competitions, Professional Cabaret performances, and Open Professional divisions in both International Ballroom and Latin, as well as American Rhythm and Smooth. Awards were presented to the Top Student, Top Teacher, and Top Studio, all amidst an atmosphere filled with vibrant social dancing.
